Participating States

The Mid-Atlantic Wetland Workgroup includes participants from the following nine states:

Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

These states represent 9 percent ( ~ 69 million hectares) of the nation's contiguous land area and 10 percent ( ~ 4 million hectares) of the nation's wetlands (excluding Alaska and Hawaii ).
